Policies and important information

Last updated: 29 October 2026

Draft for review. These plain-language policies are not a substitute for legal advice and have not been approved by counsel. Before live financial services are offered, BluCorp must confirm its operating legal entity, regulatory position, contact details, fees, and final customer agreements with qualified advisers.

Terms of use

These draft terms explain the basic rules for using the BluCorp website and platform. They apply to visitors, account holders, businesses applying for finance, and people considering a loan opportunity.

Who may use BluCorp

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. BluCorp's current operating market is Nigeria. A business applicant may be asked for valid business registration and other documents. Access to a service may depend on identity, business, eligibility and compliance checks.

How the platform works

BluCorp provides a platform for businesses to apply for funding and for eligible lenders to review loan opportunities. A business is not automatically approved because it applies or passes a check. A review is not a guarantee of the business's performance, repayment or creditworthiness.

Loan-specific documents set the actual amount, interest, term, payment dates, fees, security (if any), and the rights of each party. Read those documents before committing. If these general terms conflict with a signed loan agreement, the signed loan agreement governs that loan.

Accounts and your responsibilities

Give accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and tell BluCorp promptly if you suspect someone has accessed your account. Do not impersonate another person, submit false documents, interfere with the platform, or use it for an unlawful purpose.

Platform information and availability

Website content, sample opportunities, calculations and rates may be illustrative or change without notice. The platform may be unavailable or features may change. BluCorp does not provide personal investment, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and should seek independent advice where appropriate.

Fees, suspension and changes

Any applicable fees and deductions must be shown in the relevant account or loan documents before you proceed. BluCorp may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, suspected fraud, legal compliance or a breach of these terms. Material changes to final terms should be communicated through the platform or another appropriate channel.

These terms are a draft and do not replace a final customer agreement reviewed for the laws and regulatory requirements that apply to BluCorp.

Privacy policy

This draft describes personal information the BluCorp platform may process and why. It is intended to address Nigeria's data protection framework, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023; the final policy and the identity of the data controller must be confirmed before launch.

Information we may collect

  • Contact and account details such as your name, email address, phone number and account preferences.
  • Identity and business information needed for checks, which may include BVN, NIN, CAC registration details, documents and verification results.
  • Application, loan, wallet and transaction information needed to administer the service and keep account records.
  • Basic technical information such as browser, device, log and security events needed to operate and protect the website.

Why we may use it

Information may be used to create and manage accounts, assess applications, perform identity and business checks, process requested payments, prevent fraud, provide support, maintain records, improve the service, and meet legal or regulatory obligations. The applicable lawful basis and any consent choices must be explained in the final, counsel-reviewed notice.

Who may receive information

Where necessary, information may be shared with identity and business verification providers, payment and banking partners, technology providers, professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires or permits it. The final policy should identify relevant service providers and explain transfers or processing outside Nigeria, if any.

Retention, security and your choices

Information should be kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes and legal recordkeeping requirements, then securely deleted or de-identified where appropriate. BluCorp should use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, but no online service can promise absolute security.

You may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. The final policy must provide a working contact route for requests and explain how to complain to the relevant data protection authority. Do not send BVN, NIN, passwords or other sensitive documents through an unsecured message.

Before publication: add the operator's legal name, confirm the final retention periods, lawful basis for each purpose, provider/transfer details and the process for exercising data rights. Privacy requests can be sent to support@blucorpgroup.com.

Cookie and browser storage policy

The website uses browser storage for basic account and interface functions. The current front end stores an account token in local storage when a user signs in and uses session storage for the selected workspace and temporary preview settings. These are browser storage technologies, not necessarily cookies.

The site also loads some fonts, icons and other assets from third-party services. Those providers may receive technical request information when your browser loads an asset. The contact page may load a map from Google. Review those providers' privacy information for details about their processing.

No advertising or analytics tracking is configured in the current front end. You can clear browser storage in your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or reset preferences. This policy should be updated if analytics, marketing cookies, payment widgets or other storage technologies are added.

Security note: do not use a shared or public device for an account session, and sign out when you finish.

Investment and lending risk disclosure

Lending is not a savings account or a guaranteed investment. You could lose some or all of the money you lend. A business may pay late, fail to repay, or default. Any review, verification, risk band or security does not remove that risk.

  • Returns are not guaranteed. Advertised or estimated rates are indicative until final loan documents confirm the terms. Actual payments may be late, reduced or not paid.
  • Principal may not be returned. A stated maturity date is a contractual due date, not a promise that the borrower will be able to pay on time.
  • Your money may be hard to access. There may be no buyer or available way to exit before a loan is repaid.
  • Concentration matters. Lending to one business or sector can expose you to greater loss if it struggles.
  • Currency and tax rules may matter. Consider the effect of Naira value changes, applicable taxes and fees on your own circumstances.

Only consider lending money you can afford to have tied up or lose. Read the opportunity documents and seek independent financial, legal or tax advice if needed. Businesses should also review their repayment obligations carefully before borrowing.

Acceptable use policy

Use BluCorp lawfully, honestly and in a way that does not put other people or the service at risk. You must not:

  • Provide false identity, business, financial or application information, or use another person's identity or account.
  • Use the platform to commit fraud, launder money, evade sanctions, or facilitate any other unlawful activity.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data, disrupt the service, or bypass security or eligibility controls.
  • Upload malicious code, misuse contact details, harass other users, or submit content that violates another person's rights.

BluCorp may investigate suspected misuse and take proportionate action, including restricting an account or referring concerns to the appropriate authority where required.
